Wye Distribution to Delta Transformer

Are you using the transformer in a step up configuration?

Are there any L-N (wye) loads?

No, I am doing:

WYE 12470 (distribution from the pole from utility) and connecting it to a 12470Delta / 480(277Y) transformer to connect as a wye to wye switchgear and then serves wye loads.

This is a typical connection, correct?


Edit1: I am just trying to make sure it is ok to connect a delta to wye transformer to a wye source ?

I misunderstood your topology.

I will guess that the 12470V wye will be N-G bonded upstream somewhere at the service.

Then you situation will be fine / typical. Bond the N-G again at the secondary of your D-Y transformer
