Generac Power Systems - Sell generators without paying for generac classes?

I agree being a generator dealer doesn't work for everyone. For us it works. We have been a Generac dealer for 15 years. We spend a lot of money on stocking parts and training techs. Including myself I have 5 techs. trained on the R Panel thru 150KW out of those 5 two of us are trained on H panels. We are 3 trade company (Elec, HVAC, & plumbing) so we sell "turnkey" installation packages with all work being in house. We are a warranty provider for Generac, so we service what we sell. We also sell maintenance agreements as well as extended warranties. We've shifted our focus in the electrical department to being a dedicated generator dealer, meaning we are no longer bidding any new construction (we had only been doing commercial build-outs). We still offer electrical service especially because of our customer base and other trades. So for us it works. I do have to add we go behind a lot of DIY and "trunk-slammer" installs. Nothing like telling someone that their warranty is void because of a faulty install. :slaphead:
