I would like to get some opiniuns on the correct purcedure for a mechanical loto. If a employee has to loto a breaker for machineary and no electrical work is going to be done, and there has been a arc flash study to the electrical equipment does the person need ppe and trained to open a circuit breaker and place a lock on it ? Or can he just do the loto as he always has done ? This seems to be a concern at our safety meetings from one meeting to the next.
