Just out of curiosity, anyone use or even have AC cable available in your area? I saw it at a home depot in Maryland once. Ive asked supply houses in NY and Washington state if they stock it or can get it (again just out of curiosity ) and no one even knows what Im talking about. Maybe its one of the regional things where its common in some places?

I can get it if I ask for it but to be fair I live I an area that uses lots of cable and we have at least four major supply house distribution centers close to our shop.

The last time I used it was to feed track lighting in a store, the end feed kits are very small so doing away with the ground wire makes it easier.

Another trick is not to enter the end feed directly with a cable connector, they stick into the feed kit to much.

Use a chase nipple to a conduit coupling to the cable connector. Of course some will say that is a listing violation.

I know what you mean. For track track end feeds I use these.

Have used it. Don't use it; can't get it unless special order where I live. No reason to do that.

We specify AC cable sometimes, but only for applications where conduit won't really work. Our main client refuses to allow MC cable, so if we have to use cable, AC is about our only option. The Electricians have never mentioned it being overly difficult to get, but I really have no idea how hard they might have to work to get their hands on it.

How about these instead?
