The way i read article 517 you must have backup power in a doctors office battery or generator is this right?

Is this simply a general practitioner's office suitable for examinations, etc. or an ambulatory health care occupancy ?

For such facilities, I have never seen any requirement beyond "normal" emergency lighting. To me that would meet 517.25. (an opinion)
