I have a 100amp circuit breaker that feeds a fuseible disconnect switch, I plan to put 60amps fuses in the switch for the circuit load after the switch. My question is does the fuseible disconnect switch need to be a 100 amp or a 60 amp disconnect switch?

This is a feed to an overhead crane that requires a 60 amp feeder.

That will be fine because if there is ever a fault or a short the fuses will blow first. A 60 amp fusible with 60 amp fuses will be OK. If the disconnect is a 100 amp, you will need fuse reducers to put 60 amp fuses in.
