So, you know how bell boxes outside always get damaged, and the device won't mount to it anymore. Usually the 6-32 holes will get stripped out or the little press in piece of aluminum that has the 6-32 holes just falls out. Anyhow, I remember seeing a display somewhere had a solution. The solution was a little kit that clamped onto the box and had a new front on it for mounting the device. Does anyone know what I'm talking about, or where I can find one? I have a little repair that it would come in super handy.

Depending on the make & design of the box, a Heli-Coil? or competitive thread repair kit would work, I have used the same on plastic boxes when stripped out, so the OEM screws can be used.

When the 6-32 mounting holes strip or screw breaks off in hole, I use whatever wp cover has the holes that line up to the other 6-32 holes in box, device is held in place with cover screw, cover is held in place by fastening to box with the other 4 tapped holes. As far as strip falling out I seem to remember flattening and pushing back in?
