X-10 replacement

Does anybody have a replacement system for x-10? Customer wants 2 flourescents, one light and 2 fans I need to switch seperatly. All used to be lights. No attic access. need receivers to fit in canopy or inside ceiling boxes.

They have Insteon devices that will accept X-10 addresses.

Every thing I find has plug in receivers. Nobody has canopy receivers. I have a string of lights to convert to lights and fans with no attic assess.

I think the in-line relay should work for you (smarthome.com Dimmable-2475DA1, Non-Dimmable-2475SDB, Fan-2475F). We often use these in j-box or under canopy. One thing to mention is that there is a button you use to "program" the relay. It needs to be accessible after you wire up the fixture. I find this to be very annoying, particularly if you finish up and the client wants to change the dimming or something (then you have to drop the canopy again). the solution to this is to buy the software. If you bring a laptop, you can install everything, then program from the laptop.
