We put in a new single phase 120 volt motor 3 months ago. It will not run with a load on it. If we take the belt off the pully and let it run freely it will. Would someone be able to let me know what is wronge with it, Why it is doing that and how it started doing that. Thank you so much.

Motor is 120/240 and came from the factory pre-wired for 240 would be my first guess.
