Not a tap box

Co worker of mine says that even though you just pullin straight through a 1900 box you still need to tap the grounds I say no that is not true but can't find it of course so a reference
is what I'm looking for

If the box is properly grounded it's not required. Don't have the reference handy but maybe someone will post it.

In older codes that was required. The code section was changed to say that if the conductors are pulled through without a splice, then you don't have to connect the EGC to the box. I think this change was in the 99 code but not sure. Prior to the code change, you had to connect the EGC to the box even where you were not splicing the other conductors.
