Trouble call was reported as Motor Operated Gate stopped working.... This is what I found. :)

This is what happens when you use AL. split bolts in wet locations, and by the way, there were about 6 of these in ground junction boxes with no drainage provisions...

Cha-Ching Other peoples stupidy makes for a fat check.

Reminds me of the other day I inspected an installation. I spec 4/0 awg for a 225 amp feed. The contractor installed 4/0 AL. When questioned he responded that AWG meant Aluminum Wire Gage. What is worse is that the city inspector signed off on it

Then CWG is copper wire gage:?
