it would not meet code on several points. one being that the parallel conductors have to be terminated at the same point on both ends, and another being the prohibition on using Cbs or fuses in parallel.

in any case, why would you even want to do such a thing?

So how does Siemens get away with a residential panel with a quad breaker ( 4-100 amp ) making a 200 amp?

240.8 Fuses or Circuit Breakers in Parallel. Fuses and
circuit breakers shall be permitted to be connected in parallel
where they are factory assembled in parallel and listed
as a unit. Individual fuses, circuit breakers, or combinations
thereof shall not otherwise be connected in parallel.

That is different and manufacturers are not required t follow NEC. The OP has 2 runs that are not parallel in that they don't begin and end at the same place.
