WHAT WOULD ONE CHARGE FOR REPLACING 180 4' FLORESCENT LIGHT BULBS AND SOME BALLAST, USING A LIFT AT A DEPARTMENT STORE WITH ESLES 5' WIDE

180 lamps in how many fixtures, 180, 100, 40?

How many ballasts is 'some'?

EC to supply lamps and ballasts or will they be provided by store?

Are the lamps enclosed or open?

Can this be done with the store open or will it be night work?

It seems to me that you really should be asking one of the two following questions:

How much will it cost for someone to estimate the following installation?

or

How do I go about putting an accurate price on the following work without getting burned?

I don't really think this forum is for free estimates, otherwise I have a 3 Story Office building with an 800 amp service....................

Lupe, why don't you just let a local EC quote and do this job?

HOW MUCH WOULD IT COST ME IF YOU CAN GIVE ME AN ACCURATE PRICE ON THE FOLLOWING WORK WITHOUT GETTING BURNED.
THE JOB DETAILS ARE WORK EARLY IN THE MORNING OR NIGHT. I WILL NEED A LIFT THAT CAN MANEUVER IN 5' WIDE ISLES. THERE ARE 130 LAMBS WITH 6 4' BULBS EACH, ENCLOSED SUSPENDED FROM THE CELLING 18' FROM FLOOR. I NEED THE QUOT TO INCLUDE MAN HOURS, AND HOW MANY MEN TO REPLACE THE 180 BULBS DUSTING THE LAMPS AS THEY REPLACE THE BULBS, AND INSPECTING FOR ANY FAULTY WEIRING.

WITH ALL RESPECT

I could be wrong, but it sounds an awful lot like a GC is checking on an EC's or electrician's price they already have.

Lupe.......get a local EC to look at the work and provide you with a price. We are not looking at the working conditions and pricing it from this forum will only be a ballpark price anyhow without actually seeing the working environment......

I would quote you $15K and move on. With that price I most likely won't get that work, but I won't have the headache of trying to make you happy enough to pay me when I am finished up.

Good luck to you sir.....:)
