I have five outdoor fluorescent fixtures connected all together with RMC conduit. Does NEC allow running the switch leg that will turn on those fixtures along with other hot wires that will feed other loads? The other hot wires would just pass through inside those fixtures without making splices

Thank you for your answer. Could you be more especific about your reference NEC 2005 410.64? I don't see part of it answering my question?
I don't have NEC 2008

2011 code changed the wording just a little bit, not 2005. The intent has been the same for a long time. Most days of the week the light fixture cannot be used as a raceway for other circuits.

410.64 Luminaires as Raceways
Luminaires shall not be used as a raceway for circuit con-
ductors unless they comply with 410.64(A), ......

(A) Listed. Luminaires listed and marked for use as a race-
way shall be permitted to be used as a raceway.

What about 410.64 (C)....It looks like his intall is legal in this case.

C) Luminaires Connected Together. Luminaires designed
for end-to-end connection to form a continuous assembly,
or luminaires connected together by recognized wiring
methods, shall be permitted to contain the conductors of a
2-wire branch circuit, or one multiwire branch circuit, supplying
the connected luminaires and shall not be required to
be listed as a raceway. One additional 2-wire branch circuit
separately supplying one or more of the connected luminaires
shall also be permitted.

The OP asked about wiring supplying other than the connected luminaires.

Thank you guys for your answers. My bad about not been more specific about......."hot wires that will feed other loads" that I posted firstly. Those other loads in reality are other type of fixtures
