SCHEDULE 80 ELBOW

Are you able to get PVC schedule 80 elbows or do you have to use RGS? I ask because i am looking in a pricing program and I only see schedule 40 PVC elbows. Thanks.

Es they make Sch80 elbows. Straight pipe would be pretty useless without them.

If you used a metallic elbow with PVC you would need to have it buried a minimum of 18" in the ground to the top of the elbow.

None of the suppliers in this area stock sched 80 elbows. Go straight up with 80 to above 8' and we don't need them. Can't think of a reason to use sched 80 90s below ground level. Bigger sizes get fibberglass if we have to pull.

POCO here requires sched 80 PVC 90's but allows that really thinwall DB120 stuff for straight runs.

What if your using schedule 80 in the it and you need to turn up? You would need a 90...right?

What is "it"?

If all else fails we can bend them ourselves. I have always managed to "borrow" a bender. Exhaust from a recently used skid steer or even one of our own pickups works well. If I had to bend very much, I would buy a hot box or other means.

PoCo allows the thinwall here too, but only for primaries and it has to be concrete encased.
