Opinions, 2/0 or 3/0?

I would pipe it and use 4/0 aluminum and not worry about it. Years ago I wouldn't ever think of using alum but now you almost have to-- Copper is 3 x the price of aluminum.

BTW- remember that you need to pull an egc

Yeah, I do not think I have used any copper over #3 in a long time. Specs all show AL for big stuff these days.

you should factor in the voltage drop and I did the calculation and it is within tollerance to use 2/0. 2/0 is the way to go here

Guessing at the load and using this calculator the load was 135 amps.
