Additionally, some hard copies have an offer for a free pdf in the back (with a sticker noting such on the front), but it's been awhile since mentioned. Good luck in finding one.

While we're on the subject, has anyone had a problem with the FileOpen plugin with Acrobat X ???

Before you do anything, see if you can place your hands on the Book, inside is a free download available in the book (softbound-book). I called when I bought the book and I recall the download is schedule through next year.

As far as I know U need PDF V. 9 for NEC's PDF. They wrote some software for
the NEC it doesn't work in Adobe reader 10.

Just got mine working again in Acrobat X.

The FileOpen plug-in will only work if Preferences>Application Startup>Use only certified plug-ins is disabled. I had the option unchecked, but for some reason Currently in Certified Mode was reporting Yes. Checked option, okayed out of Preferences, reopened Preferences, unchecked option, okayed, got message had to restart Acrobat, did, and it works now. Currently in Certified Mode now reports No.
