sports bar recessed lights

we will be changing 70+- pendant lights to recessed in an existing drop ceiling of a small sports bar. the owner wants to use residential 6 inch cans to save money. any better ideas on the type of recessed we should supply.

Well I guess if he has no dimmer he can use CFL's otherwise he will be spending a small fortune on bulbs and electricity. I would use PLC type fixture but they are very expensive up front.

Halo's H7 Cans are designed so that the brackets will mount in the ceiling grid or on wood framing. I did a small store and we used about 40 Halo cans.

Residential cans?

They make more than one type of can?:)

What type of lighting are they looking for?

Nice comfortable inviting atmosphere? Incandescent or halogen.

Cold ugly, eww let's go somewhere nicer? Fluorescent.

THANK YOU!!! thats whats missing from the CFLs. Even the ones with the lower color temperature that are supposed to match incandescent dont have the warmth you get from something with a filament...
